Raydiance weighs Petaluma expansion

Raydiance, developer of next-generation laser technology, is considering a major expansion in Petaluma this year. Other items in this commercial real estate column: Santa Barbara-based multifamily property investment firm Nevins Adams Lewbel Schell, or NALS, purchased the 292-unit Rolling Oaks luxury apartment complex at 3700 Lyon Road in Fairfield for $52 million, or about $178,000 a dwelling. … Prima Fluer Botanicals of San Rafael signed a five-year lease for the 14,400-square-foot warehouse and offices at 23 Pimentel Ct. in Novato. … An affiliate of San Francisco-based industrial real estate investor Lowenberg Corp. purchased a 101,700-square-foot warehouse in American Canyon, Lowenberg’s ninth North Bay holding. … As part of planned projects around the Bay Area, San Ramon-based gym chain 24 Hour Fitness has been upgrading its North Bay facilities.

Commercial brokerages focus on wine

Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank agents Kevin Foster and Preston Smith in the Santa Rosa office and Brian Gleason in the Larkspur office were recently sanctioned by the worldwide network of brokerages as a specialty practice, called the Wine Services Group. The London-based Knight Frank part of the network already has such a group working with wine-related properties in Europe.

Tektronix selects airport location

Large Napa warehouse project starts

NAPA — Construction is set to start this month on a 107,400-square-foot multi-tenant warehouse in a business park near Napa County Airport.

E&P Properties Inc., led by Dennis Paulley, owner of Benicia-based Metropolitan Van & Storage, is building the warehouse at the corner of Airport Boulevard and Airpark Road, near the south Napa intersection of Highway 12, leading to Interstate 80, and Highway 29, heading to American Canyon and Vallejo.

Portocork America expanding Napa facility

NAPA — Portocork America, a U.S. distribution arm of the world’s largest supplier of wine corks, has expanded its Napa facility to 42,000 square feet and invested $750,000 in new equipment to handle double-digit sales growth.
