New law to require energy rating on commercial buildings
September 7th, 2009Investigating energy use is part of the due-diligence process of many commercial property transactions now, but starting next year a formal report with that information will be required as part of the sale, lease or financing of nonresidential buildings under a new state benchmarking law.
