November 5, 2012NAPA COUNTY — As planners in Napa County continue development of a strategy to address state-mandated reductions to greenhouse gas emissions, industry groups have expressed concern that a proposed local market for carbon credits will increase costs for developers and suppress new vineyard and agricultural projects in the region.

Napa Pipe zoning vote expected in late 2012, early 2013
November 5, 2012NAPA COUNTY — Development of the 154-acre Napa Pipe commercial and residential project west of the city of Napa continues to move forward, with planners expecting that zoning provisions related to the development will go before the Napa County Board of Supervisors before the end of the year or in early 2013.

Doctors Co. to acquire Utah malpractice insurer
October 30, 2012NAPA — The Doctors Company, the largest medical malpractice insurer in the country, today said it signed a merger agreement with the Utah Medical Insurance Association.
