Santa Rosa Plain groundwater management study to start

On Jan. 12 the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Water Agency took an important step forward on a project to address groundwater issues in the Santa Rosa Plain. … The board’s action is the continuation of a process that began in 2005 when a study of the groundwater basin was initiated. The study, conducted by the United States Geological Survey, will be complete in December 2010 and published in the early 2011.
