ROHNERT PARK — The $820 million Graton Resort & Casino opened its doors this morning to a throng of visitors from the Bay Area and beyond, as thousands were expected throughout the day have been snarling traffic in the area.

More seasonal jobs will be available this year compared to last year, according to a survey by Snagajob, which found that 69 percent of hiring managers responsible for year-end seasonal workers planned on hiring, up from 63 percent in 2012. …
Immediately upon opening in just under three weeks, Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park will be the North Bay’s third largest employer, having completed the process of hiring 2,000 full-and-part-time employees. …

ROHNERT PARK — Graton Resort & Casino unveiled the insides of the massive $820 million casino nearing completion.
“This is a building that is not rivaled in Northern California,” the casino operator said during a project walkthrough.
The casino is poised to open in just over a month — Nov. 5. Up to 6,000 visitors are expected on opening day.
