Raydiance receives $20 million investment
August 14, 2012PETALUMA — Raydiance, Inc., has completed a $20 million growth financing, led by Samsung Venture Investment Corporation, the investment arm of consumer technology giant Samsung Group.
Raydiance says the new funds will be used to accelerate its consumer electronics efforts and to ramp up manufacturing to meet the demand for the company’s medical device, automotive, and other manufacturing customers.

Calix shares advance on IPO
March 24, 2010PETALUMA — Shares of telecommunications systems developer Calix Inc. started trading on the New York Stock Exchange, raising $82.3 million at the initial price of $13 a share. Share prices ranged between $15 and $16.50 throughout today’s session, with a closing price of $15.10 a share, a 16 percent increase from the initial price.

Tellabs to trim overall workforce by 200
January 26, 2010NAPERVILLE, Ill., PETALUMA — Telecommunications equipment-maker Tellabs Inc., which has 150 employees in Petaluma, said today it will cut 200 jobs over the next several quarters from its overall workforce of 3,000.
A Tellabs spokesman said it was unknown how many of the cuts would be in Petaluma where employment is down significantly from its peak during the telecom boom.
