WINDSOR — Wine Country Shipping plans to more than double the size of its Windsor facilities next year to satisfy vintner demand for casegoods storage.

NAPA — A new 62,000-square-foot wine storage and fulfillment facility in Napa is part of a trend toward warehouses offering a wider range of logistics services.

WINDSOR – Pack n’ Ship Direct, a wine consumer direct logistics, deep storage and compliance service, announced a new strategic alliance and warehouse/shipping venue with Central Coast Wine Services in Santa Maria.

NORTH COAST — The Internet retail giant Amazon.com has dropped plans to sell wine.

“I can confirm Amazon will not be getting into the wine business,” said Tracy Ogden, a spokesman for the Seattle-based company. He declined to elaborate.

NAPA – A 41,200-square-foot “wine condo” project in south Napa has defied economic conditions by not only starting construction at a time when such financing is challenging but also having 85 percent of the space leased or reserved for sale at the outset.

SAN FRANCISCO – Large Internet wine retailer Wine.com today announced it has started a direct-to-consumer logistics service through its Berkeley warehouse.

WINDSOR — Direct-to-consumer wine order fulfillment provider Pack n’ Ship Direct of Windsor has grown to serve 200 customers since it launched in early 2006 and now serves Napa County, the Central Coast of California and Oregon.

WINDSOR — The direct wine order fulfillment business Pack n’ Ship Direct will expand its Windsor facility and open a new operation on the Central Coast to serve wineries there.
