Circle Bank to open San Francisco branch

NOVATO - Circle Bank has filed all the necessary paperwork to open a 7-day a week, full-service branch in San Francisco's Noe Valley.

At 3936-3938 24th St., the bank will be adjacent to a new Whole Foods Market scheduled to open in the fall.  President and Chief Executive Officer Kim Kaselionis said the branch, the first community bank in the noted San Francisco district, is scheduled to open by year's end, depending on regulatory approval.

"The Noe Valley area has commercial and residential characteristics very similar to Marin County," Ms. Kaselionis said.  "Approximately 48 percent of our current loan portfolio is already involved in San Francisco, so we already feel at home in the city."

The branch will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The official opening date for the branch will be dictated by the FDIC and city of San Francisco permit approvals processes.
