5 things to know about me

ABOUT ME… “My friends and colleagues say that I am honest, knowledgeable, dedicated, team-oriented, even-tempered, understanding, supportive, approachable, engaged and flexible. Personally I have opinions but I'm not opinionated.”

I ADMIRE… “Bill Gates. I admire his vision, his purpose in life as philanthropist. I have read several early white papers for business development of Microsoft Corporation.”

MY BIGGEST JOB CHALLENGE… “Managing the balance between economic/staff resources and operational/automation needs in a fast-paced, ever-changing physical and political environment.”

CHANGES TO COME IN OUR PROFESSION… “A 15-year-old today has never known the world without the internet. Five years from now, he or she will be one of the millions of workers who leverage technology to create flexible work patterns radically different from a more traditional work place that is based on assigned workspace to support and achieve a satisfying work life-balance.”

ONE LAST THING… “County facilities are not just buildings, they are environments where democracy lives, and essential services are provided to build and strengthen communities and improve lives every day. I'm at my best when I'm making a positive difference in the lives of the staff that I work with.”
