SANTA ROSA — The Annadel is a 390-unit, transit-oriented, market-rate and luxury apartment rental project on about 16 acres.

It was built on an infill site in northwest Santa Rosa at 1020 Jennings Ave. Open-space areas created around preserved heritage oaks maintain a sense of place.

The Annadel was nominated as a Top Project by the Carlile Macy firm of civil engineers, urban planners, land surveyors and landscape architects.

Phase I, completed in summer 2015, includes 270 one-to-three bedroom units ranging in size from 688 to 1,191 square feet and priced from $1,755 to $2,820 per month. Phase II, with 120 additional units, is currently under construction.

Positioned a quarter mile from the Coddingtown shopping center and within a half mile of the planned SMART commuter rail station, this smoke-free garden style community is notable for its outstanding design offering a walkable lifestyle for residents, including access to a nearby 2.8-acre Finali Neighborhood Park.

Developed and owned by the Wolff Company, this transit-oriented urban infill project is organized on a grid of tree-lined neighborhood streets arranged in pedestrian-scaled blocks where pedestrians, bicycles, and vehicles are welcome.

Property highlights include vaulted ceilings, a full-sized washer and dryer in every unit. Also included are walk-in closets, extra storage, and chef-style kitchens including quartz countertops, a microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal along with garden-style tubs, window coverings and air conditioning.

Hardwood style flooring, carpeting and tile, ceiling fans and upgraded lighting are among the amenities and each unit has a balcony or patio. The Annadel also offers short-term leases, furnished units and attached garages are available.

The property includes a courtyard, pool and spa, clubhouse and fitness center, a playground, a resident lounge and an onsite business center.

In addition, units are equipped for cable or satellite connections, broadband Internet and wireless access.

Pets are welcome and the pet policy includes breed restrictions but does not have a weight limit. A $500 first pet deposit is required, and an additional $250 for the second pet, plus a $35 pet rent per month. An elementary school, two middle schools and two high schools are nearby.

On-and-off ramps for Highway 101 are just a few blocks away.
