Buchalter Nemer opens St. Helena law office

Buchalter Nemer, a 156-attorney law firm with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County and Scottsdale, Ariz., on May 1 opened a fifth office, in St. Helena.

The Napa County office, with special emphasis serving wineries, wine brokers and vineyard managers, will be staffed by attorneys James Rose and Katherine (Trina) Falace, who previously worked in the Law Offices of James R. Rose in the Napa Valley.

Rose will be a shareholder; Falace will be senior counsel in the Buchalter Nemer firm.

“I’m so pleased to be joining some of my long-time friends and co-counsel at Buchalter, where I’ll continue to build my practice with the resources Buchalter provides,” said Rose.

He has expertise in real estate-related matters, including land use, water rights and tax credit work, as well as lending, labor and employment, intellectual property, tax law and estate planning.

Falace, senior counsel in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the St. Helena office, handles lawsuits in business, real estate and land use for wineries and vineyard managers. Falace is a member and past president of the Napa County Women Lawyers, and a member of the Inns of Court.
