Hernandez Realty was a family business started in 1953 in San Francisco and in 1971 the Hernandez family started the Guerneville office. We have been doing business in Guerneville for 45 years, while Herman has practiced for 43 years! And continues to be family owned with Hermans daughter now in the business as third generation.

Is there a major accomplishment in the past year or so that you would like to share?:

Honored to be the current Chairman and Founder of Los Cien Sonoma County in reaching out to over 850 Latino and community leaders, as well as having supported Napa County and Marin County Latino Leaders and a club at Sonoma State.

What is the achievement you are most proud of?:

Working in the county and being part of the Latino Community in creating solutions, that will make the Northbay a great place to live. A movement that continues to grow.

What is your biggest challenge today?:

To continue to be part of Los Cien Sonoma County in creating change in making a difference for all!

• Rotary International member 43 years. Community project director for the club, Past Rotarian of the Year

• Director for Sonoma County Health Action Board

• Founding Past Director of the Sonoma County Family Justice Director

• Treasurer of the Northbay Association of Realtors (NorBAR), a position he has held for the past 6 years.

• A past founding Director of the Sonoma County Family Justice Center.

• A current Director for the Sonoma County Health Action Board.

Has been awarded the North Bay Leadership Award, The Sonoma County Jefferson Award, Luther Burbank of the Arts Community Service Award, Tele Mundo Leadership Award, Sonoma County Spirit Award.

What advice would you give to a young person today…Keep a Positive Attitude, and you can overcome any obstacle, never stop moving forward!
