Hotel Yountville announces new director

Paul Kessinger has been appointed director of operations of 80-room Hotel Yountville.

Amidst enhancements to the hotel’s brand identity and service, Kessinger brings 10 years to the post, the company stated.

A California native, Kessinger most recently served in management positions with two historical hotels in San Francisco, Omni San Francisco Hotel and Stanford Court San Francisco Hotel, working his way up the rooms division at Omni San Francisco Hotel before accepting the new challenge of Director of Front Office at Stanford Court San Francisco Hotel.

After graduating from Chicago State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s of science in hotel management, Kessinger began his career at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Olympic Valley., where he acted as assistant hotel manager.

“Through my years of experience in this industry, I have developed a passion for leading and an understanding of what makes a hotel experience positive and memorable,” Kessinger stated in the announcement. “I look forward to providing guests with a wine country retreat unparalleled in charm, personality and romance.”
