Halley Eppinger joined Santa Rosa's Armstrong Associates, a marketing firm. Mr. Eppinger was director of sales for NorthBay Biz magazine and has worked in the advertising and marketing field for more than 15 years.

Banking & Finance

Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa named Martina Valentine senior vice president of risk management. Ms. Valentine has been with Redwood Credit Union since 2005, serving most recently as assistant vice president of mortgage lending services and loss mitigation.

Mark Keating, a financial adviser with Willow Creek Financial Services in Sebastopol, was awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Nonprofit Organizations

Inverness resident Gail Seneca joined the board of directors of the Marin Agricultural Land Trust in Point Reyes Station. Ms. Seneca founded the San Francisco investment firms Seneca Capital and Luminent Capital. She has served on the boards of the San Francisco Foundation, the Golden Gate Conservancy and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

The Solano Land Trust in Fairfield named Nicole Byrd as its new executive director. Ms. Byrd joined the trust in 2008 as assistant executive director and took over the top post following retirement of former director Marilyn Farley.

Technology

Enwisen Inc. in Novato named Melanie Lougee vice president of product strategy. Enwisen is a provider of software-as-a-service solutions that help employers improve the delivery of HR services.

Wine

Bruce Herman, senior vice president of U.S. sales for Foster's Wine Estates in Napa, announced his resignation. Mr. Herman held the position since 2004. In other Foster's news, Mike Holden was named to replace Mr. Herman. Mr. Holden was president and chief operating officer for Don Sebastiani & Sons.

Pat Kane was named national sales manager of Wine Creek LLC in Healdsburg, the sales, importing and marketing company for Quivira Vineyards & Winery, Torbreck Vintners and Tandem Wines.  Mr. Kane was previously vice president of trade development for Icon Estates, a division of Constellation Wines North America.
