Best Places to Work nominations open

NORTH BAY -- Nominations for the North Bay Business Journal's seventh annual Best Places to Work competition are now being accepted.

"We are very proud that Best Places to Work has established itself as one of the most coveted awards a North Bay company can receive," said Business Journal Editor and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger. "The program, which starts today and culminates in the awards in September, has grown from 24 winners the first year to 67 in 2011. And there remains only one way to earn it: to have your employees choose you."

To nominate your company, use the online nomination form (link) or print the form (link) then fax it to 707-521-5292 or mail it to 427 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 27. Anyone can nominate their company.

Following the nomination period, nominated companies will be contacted with information on how to participate in the application and survey process, the results of which will determine the winning companies. Winners will be selected by the Business Journal editorial staff on the basis of qualifications, not the number of nominations received -- only one nomination is necessary to participate in the application process.

Winning companies will be recognized at an awards celebration and be featured in a special section of the publication in September.

Companies must have a location in Sonoma, Napa or Marin counties and have at least 20 employees. Supporting information may accompany the form but will not replace the nomination form.
