Hospice by the Bay gets grant for cancer services

LARKSPUR – Hospice by the Bay was awarded $30,000 from the San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support medical care and services for low-income, no-income and homeless hospice patients with late-stage breast cancer. Hospice by the Bay provides hospice care to breast cancer patients in Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Sonoma counties at no cost through its Breast Cancer Care Fund. The Komen grant will permit Hospice by the Bay to offer additional services not covered by other means to low-income, no-income and homeless hospice patients.
