SANTA ROSA -- Eight local physicians joined the board of the Sonoma County Medical Association.
Dr. Catherine Gutfreund, a family physician at Kaiser Santa Rosa, is the new president. President-elect is Dr. Jeff Sugarman, a Santa Rosa dermatologist. Also added to the board were Dr. Jan Sonander, a Santa Rosa family physician; Dr. Peter Sybert, a Santa Rosa anesthesiologist; Dr. Gregory Rosa, a Sebastopol family physician to represent West County; and Dr. Lisa Nijm, an ophthalmologist to represent Rohnert Park.
Representing the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency are Drs. Anthony Lim and Rachel Friedman joined by Cuyler Goodwin, a third-year medical student at Touro University doing clinical rotations at Kaiser Santa Rosa.
