AMERICAN CANYON -- The American Canyon Chamber of Commerce board of directors named Susan Lane of Napa as the new president and chief executive officer of the 300-plus-member business group.
The chamber had been considering more than two dozen candidates from across the U.S. to replace Pam Wilkinson, who left recently to take another position.
Ms. Lane moved to the Napa Valley in 2002 and graduated from the Leadership Napa Valley program.
"I am excited to work with Susan and help her become successful as she guides our organization going forward," said Beth Marcus, chamber chairwoman.
Ms. Lane said she looks forward to becoming more acquainted with the chamber members as well as all other community leaders.
