Sausalito-based Hunter Douglas Commercial launched Hunter Douglas Australia's Commercial Project Gallery, an online showcase of Australian projects. Australian architects and builders are able link to their projects from the Hunter Douglas Commercial LinkedIn profile.

Health Care

The Integrated Healthcare Association recently presented Sutter Medical Foundation in Fairfield and its affiliated medical group, Solano Regional Medical Group, with certificates of Outstanding Performance for clinical quality, patient experience, its diabetes registry and related activities.

Central Payment in San Rafael made a $25,000 corporate contribution to underwrite special events at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford as part of its new corporate philanthropy program.

Hospitality

Ca’ Momi Enoteca and Pizzeria opened at Oxbow Public Market in Napa. Owned by Dario De Conti, Valentina Guolo-Migotto and Stefano Migotto, the restaurant offers wood-fired Italian pizzas, traditional Italian pastries and Italian wines.

Marketing

San Rafael-based Goodman Marketing Partners received a 2010 Direct Marketing Association International Echo Silver Award in the Not-For-Profit category for its work for San Mateo-based public radio station KCSM-FM.

Sherryl Dever, owner of The Business Resource in Santa Rosa, is creating a new media company, 3 Wings Media, with a group of private investors. 3 Wings Media includes office staff, technical help and face-to-face consultants for creating and maintaining economical traditional marketing and social media presence for small businesses.

Technology

Petaluma telecom equipment maker Calix said Minnesota carriers Federated Telephone Cooperative and Farmers Mutual Telephone Co., winners of federal broadband stimulus awards, selected Calix access technology to upgrade their networks.
