Prudential California offices merge into Century 21 NorthBay

SONOMA COUNTY -- The Prudential California Realty offices in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park are merging with Century 21 NorthBay Alliance headquartered in Santa Rosa.

After 28 years of ownership, Ross Liscum and Tom Torgerson and their 14-year partners in Rohnert Park, Tim and Pat Miller, decided to join a national company with local ownership in order to bring increased support to their sales associates and clients. They will all remain with the company, concentrating on real estate sales, rather than ownership, they said.

“Century 21 NorthBay Alliance is a great fit for our company and our associates as its vision and local ownership are closely aligned with our own. They are one of the strongest technology-based real estate brokerages in the North Bay, with superb training and support, and want to grow their company beyond their current eight offices located in three counties with a total of 150 sales associates,” said Mr. Liscum.

Pat Provost started with Century 21 in 1984 with one office. She has since partnered with Glenn Gephart, Greg Cornelius and Jeff Collaso to run the largest Century 21 north of the Golden Gate. They have locations in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Sonoma, Oakmont, Novato, Hidden Valley Lake and Lower Lake.

They use a paperless system allowing their agents to be efficient and eco-friendly. Producing more than 1,700 leads this year from the Internet alone has enabled them grow during the difficult economy.

“Consumers need real estate professionals who are backed with fully engaged broker support in order to have a satisfying real estate experience,” Ms. Provost said. "Our goal is to provide industry-leading support and tools to quality agents so that our clients have the best real estate transaction experience possible. This goal has guided our growth from the very beginning, and the opportunity to team up with the incredible family of professionals in the Prudential offices was a perfect fit. It is always tremendously exciting to work with agents of such a high caliber,” she said.

“Effective Dec. 1, 2010, we are excited to become a part of a larger organization that still retains local ownership and can deliver many services for the benefit of our sales associates and their clients,” said Mr. Torgerson.
