Marilee Eckert, CEO of Conservation Corps North Bay, was presented the 2011 Environmental Hero Award by Assemblymember Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael). The award recognizes an exceptional individual for leadership and innovation in addressing environmental stewardship.
Chop’s Teen Club has four new board members. Janet Condron is a former mayor of Santa Rosa, was on the Santa Rosa City Council for 12 years and served as a Sonoma County planning commissioner for 10 years. Capt. Hank Schreeder joined Chop’s board in June 2010. Capt. Schreeder started in law enforcement career in 1988 in Fullerton and joined the Santa Rosa Police in 1991. John Bribiescas in 2009 retired from his high school alma mater, Santa Rosa High School, after 35 years of teaching literature and writing. He was chairman of the English Department for many years. Matt Hunstock began working in the financial services industry in 2003, and joined Bank of America and Merrill Lynch in 2008.

Seven doctors from Marin and Sonoma counties affiliated with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation have been named on the list of Best Doctors in America. They are heptologists Timothy Davern (practicing in Marin); Adil Ed Wakil (Sonoma); neurologist Jonathan Katz (Marin); OB/GYN Denise Main (Marin and Sonoma); pediatric cardiologist Nikola Tede (Marin and Sonoma); radiologist Anthony Stavros (Sonoma); and pediatric endocrinologist Suruchi Bhatia (Marin). The list results from intensive polling or more than 45,000 physicians in the U.S.

ChannelNet of Sausalito announced the appointment of Dave Boisvenu as chief technology officer and vice president of technology. He began his career in 1999 at ChannelNet, specializing in online cross-channel sales and services solutions.
Manufacturing
Mike Kimberlain now is vice president of engineering for KriStar Enterprises, a manufacturer of storm water management products. He joined KriStar in 2007 as a regional engineer, working with municipalities and consulting engineers in the design of stormwater transmission and treatment systems. He possesses an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has been practicing civil engineering for the last 10 years.

Carlile and Macy, a Santa Rosa civil engineering, landscape architecture and surveying firm, has hired Nicoletta Becattini-Gilmore as its finance manager.
