Santa Rosa seeks business input

The city of Santa Rosa is conducting an online survey of local businesses. Companies small and large are encouraged to log on and give their feedback. Responses will help the city to better understand business challenges, needs and opportunities.

The survey can be found online at www.srcity.org/businesssurvey.

The city of Santa Rosa, like other communities across the nation, is experiencing the longest recession in generations and is feeling the impacts of a retracting global economy. In cooperation with local business leaders, the city is initiating a program designed to better understand how companies are realigning their products and labor force and responding to new economic challenges and opportunities. Companies are encouraged to give a few minutes of their time to answer questions about sales and employment and community initiatives.

The survey is also designed to help local companies access financial, manufacturing and employment resources to meet critical needs. Feedback will provide the city with clarity about the overall health of the Santa Rosa business community and also guide public policy and decision making. Individual company responses to the survey will remain confidential. Businesses that do respond, and that also include their email addresses, will receive a summary of the assessment results.
