Bank of Marin has signed a corporate sponsorship deal with the San Rafael Pacifics baseball team. The deal makes Bank of Marin the first major sponsor for the team’s inaugural season leading off with opening day on June 4th. Terms of the Bank of the Marin deal include on-field signage and ongoing advertising in the team program, opportunities for employee and customer entertainment at the ballpark, and interaction with the team at local Bank of Marin branches, including hosting the Pacifics “Caravan” at several of the bank’s branches in May. These events will be open to the public. The Pacifics will play 42 home games in the 750-seat facility at Albert Park in downtown San Rafael between June 4 and August 26.

The CAD software plug-in provides designers of plastic parts with a faster and easier way to determine the impact of design decisions on manufacturability, cost and sustainability concerns. Based on Autodesk Labs technology also known as Project Krypton, Autodesk Simulation DFM seamlessly integrates with Autodesk Product Design Suite software, and specifically Autodesk Inventor software, and provides a complementary technology to Autodesk Simulation Moldflow software. The Doubletree Napa Valley-American Canyon Hotel & Spa, known as the first hotel to receive Gold LEED certification for outstanding green design, construction and operation by the U.S. Green Building Council, welcomed two new members to its family: two black necked swans. The swans come from the Newark New Jersey Zoo and will replace a pair that the hotel donated to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Now part of the lagoon maintained at the hotel, the duo will be the subject of a soon-to-come naming contest.
