The Doubletree Napa Valley-American Canyon Hotel & Spa, known as the first hotel to receive Gold LEED certification for outstanding green design, construction and operation by the U.S. Green Building Council, welcomed two new members to its family: two black necked swans. The swans come from the Newark New Jersey Zoo and will replace a pair that the hotel donated to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Now part of the lagoon maintained at the hotel, the duo will be the subject of a soon-to-come naming contest.
