Speciality Food and Ag conference set for Nov. 8

The North Bay Business Journal and Bank of America Merrill Lynch will cohost their 2016 Specialty Food & Ag Industry Conference Nov. 8 featuring keynote speakers skilled in marketing of food as well as a third-generation rice farmer from the California Central Valley.

The event will be held at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek, Santa Rosa with registration at 7:30 a.m. and the program from 8-11:30 a.m.

The fourth annual event also features four panelists including the CEO of a flavored-syrup company which has posted 20 percent a year growth, a representative of a large, family-owned organic food company, a successful artisan goat cheese maker and a food safety manager for an organic bakery.

The program also will include an update on the new efforts of the Food Industry Group supporting specialty food producers in the region.

“This is an impressive list of speakers and topics of high interest to specialty food producers and agriculture,” said Business Journal Publisher Brad Bollinger. “Nowhere else in the North Bay is this kind of information available, designed to help support and build these foundational North Bay economic sectors in food and agriculture.”

Tickets are $65 per person or $675 for table of 10. Information: nbbj.news/food16 or call 707-521-5264.
