It has been another great year at Hemming Morse.

We completed a merger with a prestigious litigation group in Los Angeles which has significantly increased our presence in the Southern California market and has more than tripled our revenue stream in Los Angeles.

We also continued to grow laterally, and have had the opportunity to promote many of our talented team members up the ranks internally.

Particularly in the North Bay, our work guiding family and closely held businesses through engagements, including succession planning and mergers and acquisitions, remains strong and continues to increase in core industries like wine, food and hospitality.

Across all offices, our forensic accounting and financial consulting teams are busier than ever, and we look forward to continuing strong relationships with current and future clients.

While it's hard to believe anyone has “fun” on an accounting case, the numerous times I have been brought in to work with troubled businesses, either due to poor financial conditions or lack of communication among family members or employees, and have been able to get the organization back on track, have been very rewarding
