SANTA ROSA and VACAVILLE – Debbie Semrau started as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Santa Rosa on Nov. 15, and Ken Brewer is the new general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott location in Vacaville.
Ms. Semrau was assistant general manager of the 89-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Stockton for five years. Mr. Brewer was general manager of the 116-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Reno for two years.
As reported Nov. 15 by the Business Journal, the Santa Rosa and Vacaville properties are part of a five-hotel portfolio scheduled for a trustee's sale Dec. 6 in Petaluma. Rim Hospitality is the court-appointed receiver of those hotels and manages them.
