Wayne Hoffer has been unanimously promoted to senior vice president by the Summit State Bank (NASDAQ: SSBI) Board of Directors. Mr. Hoffer has 35 years of lending and banking experience, and has worked for Summit State Bank for the past six years as a commercial loan officer. Summit State Bank has infused $65 million in lending in Sonoma County since 2009. Summit has also made $50,000,000 available in local lending as part of their Small Business Lending Program.

Sean McEwan joined Mengali Accountancy in Healdsburg as a real estate accountant assistant. He has 10 years of accounting experience, including a position as an AP clerk and accounting analyst at Furman Sound. Mr. McEwan has an accounting assistant certificate from Santa Rosa Junior College. Also joining Mengali Accountancy, as an accounting assistant, is Janine Johnson. She has 11 years of experience in accounting and is a CTEC registered tax preparer with an Associate’s Degree in business from Santa Rosa Junior College. She’s currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Sonoma State University and is scheduled to graduate in May 2012.

Eugene Patterson has been named anager of Exchange Bank’s Larkfield Branch.  Mr. Patterson has been with Exchange Bank for nine years and most recently managed the Coddingtown Branch. He sits on the Santa Rosa Chamber Events Committee and donates time to Yulupa Elementary School. Exchange Bank also announced that Gus Wolter has been appointed the position of business development officer for Northern Sonoma County. Mr. Wolterhas been with the bank for 15 years and was most recently manager of the Windsor Branch. He belongs to numerous organizations in the community; including Rotary International and the Cloverdale City Council. Jim Curry, vice president and manager of Exchange Bank’s Rohnert Park Branch, has also been appointed Manager of the Cotati Branch. Kelly Dibblee has been named manager of both the Bennett Valley and St. Francis Branches. She has been with Exchange Bank for 25 years.Health Care

Thomas Erskine, M.D., was elected to a two-year term as chief of staff of the medical executive committee for NorthBay Healthcare, with Filip Roos, M.D., becoming the vice chief of staff. Dr. Erskine is the medical director of the NorthBay Healthcare Group Wound Center and provides hyperbaric medicine services and has been  on the medical staff for 12 years. Kathryn Amacher, D.O., was named secretary/treasurer and James Bronk, M.D., as NorthBay Healthcare medical staff representative to the organized medical staff section of the California Medical Association.Professional Organizations

The Climate Protection Campaign recently hired Brad Heavner as development director. Mr. Heavner has held various positions with state and national environmental organizations for the past 14 years, including research director for the Frontier Group in Santa Barbara and senior policy adviser with Environment America in Washington, D.C. The Climate Protection Campaign has been working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Sonoma County since 2001. The group's current initiatives include creating a local electricity provider called Sonoma Clean Power and new ride-share program called WeGoSonoma.Residential Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Kate Hamilton, a veteran real estate professional and managing broker of the company’s Southern Marin offices, has been named regional vice president of the San Francisco Bay Area – working primarily in the East Bay and North Bay regions.   An award-winning real estate professional, Ms. Hamilton enjoyed a successful 15-year career as a top-producing agent in Marin County before moving into the management ranks for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  For the past three years, she has overseen a talented team of real estate professionals in Mill Valley, Belvedere and Sausalito.  In her time as managing broker, she helped double the size of the Southern Marin offices and in 2011, they ranked among the top 10 Coldwell Banker offices of their size nationwide for production.  In her new role, Hamilton will work with Senior Vice President Mike James and President Rick Turley, and help oversee more than 3,000 agents and 46 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices from the North Bay to the Monterey Peninsula.  

Terra Firma Global Partners announced that Cory Maguire has joined the locally owned and operated boutique real estate company as a senior sales associate in its West County Sonoma Offices.Ms. Maguire comes to Terra Firma Global Partners with more than 17 years of real estate experience in the local market place as both an associate for key firms as well a principal of her own real estate company. In addition to her community efforts and participation, she has been involved in organized real estate for many years at both the local and state levels to include being Past President of the North Bay Association of Realtors, Realtor of the Year for the Sebastopol Chapter and a Board of Director Member of the California Association of Realtors.
