Video: Winiarski on 50 years of Napa Valley cabernet

One of the two winemakers who put Napa Valley on the global quality map 40 years ago, Warren Winiarski recounts what the county's biggest business was like before cabernet was king but worries that modern styles of the varietal is "obliterating" local uniqueness of the grape.

Winiarski was interviewed by Richard Mendelson, a longtime wine industry attorney now of counsel for Napa-based Dickenson Peatman & Fogarty, at the Business Journal's Impact Napa conference on Aug. 5 in Napa.
