Peter Heyworth has been hired as president at Dutton-Goldfield Winery in Sebastopol.

The position was newly created to help establish and implement new marketing and sales strategies for the family-operated winery in the Russian River Valley. The winery is owned by winemaker Dan Goldfield and grapegrower Steve Dutton.

Heyworth has held upper management positions at such alcoholic beverage companies as Diageo, Foster’s Wine Estates and Independent Distillers. He also served as vice president of sales and marketing at Apollo Research, a U.K.-based tech firm.

Alliance Medical Center, which has clinics in Healdsburg and Windsor, has announced an addition to its management team and a number of changes on its board of directors.

Dr. Carina Gonzalez is the new chief medical officer. With a background in urgent care and family practice medicine, she also works three days a week in one of the center’s clinics.

Abraham Daniels is the new chairman of the center’s board. He is a practice specialist for Kaiser Permanente.

New board members include Marilyn “Lyn” Murray, who formerly worked for Stanford Children’s Hospital and Palo Alto Medical Foundation; Philip J. Luks, a former partner with the law offices of Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges; Mimi Gurbst, a former senior producer and vice president at ABC News and a deputy press secretary for former New York Mayor Ed Koch; Kati Lombera, an employee for Luther Burbank Savings; Erick Longoria, a former businessowner in Mexico; and Teresita Ponce, a community member.

Kelly Jordan has been appointed director of client services at Santa Rosa’s The Personnel Perspective, and Carolyn Ryzanych has been hired as a senior bilingual human resources consultant.

Marin Community Clinics has recruited seven new clinicians during the second quarter of 2017.

The new clinicians recruited April–June 2017 include physicians: Kareen Espino, M.D., family practice; Natalie Lee, M.D., gastroenterology; and Laurence Lewin, M.D., a nephrology volunteer. Dentists recruited were Mike Li, D.D.S., a volunteer; Radka Varimezova, D.D.S.; Jessica Woodson, D.D.S.; and Hui Jue Wu, D.D.S.

In addition, Ayah El-Beshbeeshy, R.D., was recruited as a registered dietician.

Christy Moyer has joined Revel Brand Design in Healdsburg as senior digital strategist, where she’ll lead the expansion of Revel’s digital media services, including social media strategy, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM).

Moyer has more than 10 years of experience in the digital space, having worked with a range of companies from tech startups and e-commerce to digital publishing.

Maria Lounibos of Sotheby’s International Realty – Wine Country office has been honored by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals with the Top 250 Latino Agents Award for 2017.

NAHREP ranked Lounibos No. 68 nationally for total sales volume and No. 58 in the overall ranking of the top 100 Latino Realtors in the state of California. The 2017 Top 250 Latino Agents Award recognizes recipients in several categories, including highest transaction sides and sales volume in the nation, top individual agents, millennial agents, and geographic regions including the South, Northeast, West, Midwest, California and Texas, according to the announcement.

Lounibos has 28 years of experience serving homebuyers and sellers, offering extensive local knowledge of the California wine country. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Gwen Heistand has received the 2017 Terwilliger Environmental Award. She is director of education at the Audubon Canyon Ranch. The award annually honors an educator who is actively involved in teaching the public to appreciate and protect the natural environment.

Heistand holds a master’s degree in environmental science and management and in applied ecology from University of California, Santa Barbara. Her graduate work focused on assessing cumulative impacts of land use on coastal wetland watersheds. She has taught field and lab classes for both UC Santa Barbara and the College of Marin in limnology, invertebrate zoology, parasitology, mammalogy, introductory biology and marine biology.
